About the Position

We are seeking a Timber Mill Plant Operator to join our team based at our Koolkhan site. This is a casual position where you will be involved in a range of duties from warehousing to machine operation handling, grading, stacking, sorting and strapping of timber products.
We are looking for candidates who are immediately available to pick up day shifts with 6am Starts from Monday to Thursday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ongoing work with timber including grading, stacking, sorting and strapping.
- Ad-hoc plant duties to ensure the smooth running of our Koolkhan operations.
- Inventory management
- Continually maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
- You will have a strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling is highly desirable.
- A positive attitude is essential.
- You must be reliable, punctual and have a focus on the quality of your work.
- Have demonstrated experience of successfully working in a team.
- We are seeking someone who is physically fit and is able manually handle various sized timber sections.
